MANNERISM ist der neue Release von Naked On Palmtrees und eine klare Verneigung vor dem Alternative- & Nu-Metal der späten 90er und frühen 2000er – einem Sound, der heute wieder spürbar an Relevanz gewinnt.
In einer Gegenwart, geprägt von globalen Konflikten, Kriegen und permanenter digitaler Überforderung, setzt der Song genau dort an, wo viele Bands dieser Ära aufgehört haben. MANNERISM versteht sich als kritischer Blick auf bestehende Systeme ebenso wie auf das kollektive Menschsein.
Thematisiert werden Verhaltensmuster wie Hass, Neid, Projektion und Gewalt – verstärkt durch Social Media und eine endlose Informationsflut. Der Song hält diesen Entwicklungen den Spiegel vor, ohne einfache Antworten zu liefern.
Und trotz aller Schwere bleibt eine Frage bestehen:
